1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and GetGiftCash ("GetGiftCash," "we," "us," or "our") covering your access to and use of the GetGiftCash website and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, submitting a gift card, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page is always the one in effect, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
2. What GetGiftCash Does
GetGiftCash buys gift cards directly from users for cash. We are the buyer — not a marketplace, auction site, or peer-to-peer exchange. You submit a card, we verify it, and we pay you for it through one of our supported payout methods.
We may accept or decline any submission at our discretion — for example, cards we cannot verify, cards with no remaining balance, unsupported brands or currencies, or cards we believe to be fraudulent.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use GetGiftCash. By using the Platform you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your login details private. You agree to:
- Register with accurate, current information
- Keep your password and email account secure
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Use only one account unless we authorize otherwise
5. Selling a Gift Card
When you submit a card, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the lawful owner of the card and have the right to sell it
- The card was obtained legally — not through fraud, theft, or any unauthorized means
- The card has not been redeemed, reported stolen, or offered for sale elsewhere
- The code, balance, and any other details you provide are accurate
Submitting a card is an offer to sell it to us; it becomes a completed sale only once we verify and approve it.
6. Supported Cards & Currencies
We currently buy 15 major brands — including Amazon, Apple, Steam, Razer Gold, Xbox, PlayStation, Walmart, GameStop, Nintendo, Google Play, eBay, Target, Best Buy, Visa and Mastercard. We accept cards denominated in USD, GBP and EUR only. The minimum card value is $20 (or the £/€ equivalent) and the maximum is $1,000 per card. The list of supported brands, currencies and limits may change at any time.
7. Verification & Payment
Every card is verified before we pay. Verification is usually completed within minutes, though some cases take longer. While a card is pending, its estimated value appears as a pending balance and is not yet available to withdraw.
Once approved, your payout is sent to your chosen method: PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, USDT, Ethereum or Bitcoin. The final amount is based on the verified balance and the rate confirmed at submission, and may differ from the estimate if the actual balance differs from what was declared. GetGiftCash charges no payout fees, though third-party networks (e.g. ERC-20) may apply their own.
8. Rates
Rates shown on the Platform are live estimates and can change without notice based on market conditions, card type, and risk. The rate that applies to your sale is the one confirmed at the time you submit the card.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit stolen, counterfeit, or fraudulently obtained cards
- Open multiple accounts to bypass limits or bans
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools on the Platform
- Engage in money laundering or any unlawful financial activity
- Provide false or misleading information
- Probe, exploit, or reverse-engineer the Platform
- Abuse, threaten, or harm other users or our staff
Breaking these rules may lead to account suspension, forfeiture of any balance tied to fraud, and referral to law enforcement.
10. Intellectual Property
The GetGiftCash name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Downtime, technical errors, or data loss
- Losses from delayed or failed verifications
- Changes in gift card values or exchange rates
- The acts of third-party payment providers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the payout amount of the transaction giving rise to that claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetGiftCash and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your submission of fraudulent or unauthorized cards.
13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or close your account at any time — with or without notice — for conduct that breaches these Terms or harms other users, GetGiftCash, or third parties. Where an account is closed for fraud or policy violations, any related balance may be forfeited.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We will try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion first; if that fails, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration.
